A therapeutic relationship begins only after we have completed an initial intake evaluation, mutually agreed that working together is a good fit for your needs, and I have accepted you as a client. At that point, our therapeutic relationship is established, and I begin serving as your treating psychologist.Contacting my office, requesting a consultation, exchanging emails or phone calls, joining the waitlist, scheduling an appointment, or completing intake paperwork does not, by itself, establish a therapeutic relationship or create an obligation for either of us to enter into treatment. If I determine that my practice is not the best fit for your needs, or if I am unable to accept you as a client, I will make reasonable efforts to provide referrals or resources whenever possible.
